The Time Out Trainer is easy to use and due to the active participation required by the child to resolve the time out it provides powerful results. Simply select the timeout duration among the APA recommended intervals of :30 seconds to 5:00 minutes. You then select to have a reinforcing tone play if the child releases pressure on the event button or chose to have sounds muted. To complete the time out the child simply presses the button as the duration indicator fills, the button turns green and a reward tone is played indicating the completion of the time-out!
